Sagan Planet Walk Exhibit
Ithaca New York's Sciencenter’s Sagan Planet Walk is the largest exhibition in the world! On September 28 the exhibition expanded from Ithaca to Hawaiʻi to include the star nearest to the Sun, Alpha Centauri. In keeping with the 1 to 5 billion scale of the exhibition, this new star station will be located on the Big Island of Hawaiʻi at the ʻImiloa Astronomy Center of the University of Hawaiʻi. The newly expanded Sagan Planet Walk will measure 8,000 km (5,000 mi) from end to end.
