A full day of activities!

10:00 am  - Secret of the Cardboard Rocket (children's planetarium show)
11:50 am - Hula Lesson with Kapoliokealoha Miller. Free
1:15 pm - Dr. Richard Crowe presents “Science on a Sphere” presentation to highlight discoveries now being made by the Mars Phoenix Mission. (Is there water on Mars?)  Free
2:00 pm - Hands-on Workshop: Make a kukui nut candle. Free
3:00 pm - PBS presentation Seeing in the Dark will be shown in the Moanahōkū Hall.  more info...
Weather permitting, members of the Hilo Astronomy Club will set up telescopes on the lawn. Free.
7:30 pm & 9:00 - Pink Floyd music show Dark Side of the Moon in the planetarium

Learn hula, in `Imiloa's Hawaiian classroom.  Aunti Maile Yamanaka will lead a "Basic Introduction to Hula" class from 11:50am to 12:50 pm.

The hula classes are free, with membership or paid admission.  Space is limited!

Please join us on Saturday, July 19 at 1:00 p.m. at the ‘Imiloa Gift Shop for a story-telling and book-signing event with Kimberly Jackson, author of the Humu stories.
