‘Imiloa's digital full-dome planetarium system and 5.1 audio surround sound create a spectacular immersive audio-visual experience! Every presentation includes a live sky lecture featuring the sky as viewed from Maunakea.
All daily Planetarium shows are included in the price of a general admission ticket.

IBEX: Search for the Edge of the Solar System Join scientists who are investigating the boundary between our Solar System and the rest of our galaxy in IBEX: Search for the Edge of the Solar System. Audiences will get an in-depth look at this new NASA mission and how it is collecting high-speed atoms to create a map of our Solar Systems boundary. |

Awesome Light Take a 3D look inside of three Maunakea observatories—Gemini, Subaru and Canada-France-Hawaii—and learn about the most recent new discoveries made by these observatories atop Maunakea. Program is followed by a live, in-depth sky presentation of stars, constellations, and planets visible in the night sky, and the Hawaiian star lines used in traditional celestial navigation. |

Tyco to the Moon Starts March 27 Play Saturdays at 10 am. Meet Tycho, a dog who doesn't just howl at the moon, but wants to go there. Blast off on an amazing ride into space with Tycho and his young friends Ruby and Michael. Learn about night and day, space travel, the phases of the Moon and features of the lunar surface. Take a close-up look at the Sun, watch the effects of gravity, see the Earth from space and watch meteors shoot across the night sky. This show will be on Saturdays only at 10 am starting on March 27. |

Awesome Light 2 Awesome Light 2 is currently in production and features Caltech Submillimeter Observatory, James Clerk Maxwell Telescope, Harvard Smithsonian Submillimeter Array, and the Very Long Baseline Array. The program looks at radio and submillimeter astronomy and how this area of astronomy reveals discoveries not possible in visible light. The program is scheduled to debut in March of 2010. After its debut, the program will also be available to planetariums around the globe and be distributed by Sky Skan, Inc. More information is coming soon. |

3D Sun From Earth, the Sun cannot be looked at with human eyes. 3D SUN gives students a chance to see the Sun up close in startling 3D. Stand above the Arctic Circle and witness the most brilliant auroras on Earth; take a ride on a solar blast from Sun's surface to Earth's Magnetosphere, and come to a deeper understanding of what this vast sea of fire means to life here on Earth. |
