Spooky Science at `Imiloa
Citizen Zombie Science: Surviving in a Post-Apocalyptic World
Coming to `Imiloa 6:00 - 9:00 pm, Friday and Saturday, October 28-29, 2011
Worldwide epidemic nearly wipes out humanity. How will you survive?
You have been assigned to investigate reports of a mysterious disease breakout on Hawai`i Island. One night, a quarantined patient managed to escape, and the infection sweeps through the entire world. Virtually overnight, people are transformed into hordes of gruesome zombies. Somehow, you and a handful of others are able to escape unscathed. How will you use your skills to ensure survival of the human race?
Come to learn about the science of zombies, including disease transmission, sustainability, and post-apocalyptic survival.
We will also be featuring a station on the art of film-making. For an additional $5 charge, you can visit our makeup booth to become voluntarily "infected." Pose in front of the green screen and we'll print out a keepsake photo for you to take home. If you came already dressed in all your Halloween finery, we'll print you a photo for $2. Or, bring a camera to take your own pictures!
